Policy Advisor, Farmed Animal Program

Allie leads the AWI Farmed Animal team’s On Farm campaign, helps coordinate and carry out the team’s federal legislative strategy, and works on issues pertaining to slaughter and the marketing of animal food products. She’s been with AWI since 2019.

Prior to joining AWI, Allie earned a bachelor’s degree in political science and a master’s in environmental policy from Pace University in Pleasantville, New York. During her graduate studies, Allie held various internship positions with nonprofit organizations, local governments, and a former member of Congress. As a student and later as a graduate fellow at Pace’s Environmental Policy Clinic, Allie helped draft and lobbied for passage of animal protection legislation in New York.

Allie lives in sunny San Diego. Outside of work, you can find her at a fitness class, enthralled in a fiction book on the beach, or enjoying music and food with loved ones.
