In our efforts to reduce animal suffering caused by people and to seek better treatment of animals everywhere, AWI engages directly with policymakers at the local, state, federal, and international levels—petitioning them to make changes to or enforce existing laws. We also provide public comments, testimony, and other input to policymakers on proposed laws and regulations. Examples of this input can be found below.
