Lisa VanAusdall
Senior Donor Relations Associate, Operations
Lisa joined AWI in 2024 to support the organization’s donations and membership efforts. She brings over a decade of experience in nonprofit administration, with a background in the arts and humanities. Lisa holds a BA in psychology and a BA in art, with an art history minor, from William Jewell College, and an MA in arts education from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
Lisa has been drawn to animals and the outdoors her entire life and grew up with several family cats. She is particularly interested in biodiversity, urban wildlife, and native lawns, and always looks forward to bird migration. Lisa lives in DC with her spouse and her houseplants, and is a proud aunt to her best friend’s three cats, whom she visits often. In her free time, Lisa enjoys artmaking, spending time outside, walking through DC’s neighborhoods, and reading at least three books at a time.
